The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance (CVBA) is excited to announce a land tour and cruise of Alaska scheduled for 2025 that will enable local travelers to check off another thrilling destination from their bucket list!

Community members are invited to travel with the club on this once-in-a-lifetime excursion led by Cathy Folmar and Rhonda DeShong of Dream Vacations from July 26 – August 9, 2025. The club just returned from an amazing cruise to Hawaii with 85 local residents led by Dream Vacations.

Travelers will begin the 2025 trip with a seven-day land tour of Fairbanks, Denali, Talkeetna, Anchorage and Seward. They will then board Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas for seven additional days visiting Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, Ketchikan, Inside Passage in Canada and Vancouver in British Columbia.

“Rhonda and I chose this trip because if we’re going to Alaska, we’re going to do it right,” said Cathy Folmar, franchise owner of Dream Vacations. “When we say once-in-a-lifetime, we mean it. Alaska is a remarkable place and every destination will give our guests a unique, memorable experience to remember.”

An information session with an in-depth overview of the itinerary, pricing and more is planned for Tuesday, May 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Chambersburg Chamber, 100 Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg. RSVP at CVBAlliance.org/Events, email lkennedy@chambersburg.org or call 717-264-7101 ext. 206.

The CVBA Travel Club is an opportunity for local residents to enjoy unique group travel experiences with their neighbors to domestic and international destinations while supporting the business community.
